How to play hangman
You see the category and one blank for each letter of the word. Guess one letter at a time.
Rules
- A right letter shows up everywhere it appears in the word. Accented letters count as the plain letter (E also reveals É).
- Each wrong letter adds a piece to the drawing. On the seventh miss you lose the word and a life.
- You have three lives for the whole game and keep going word after word until they run out.
- You score for the length of the word and for every miss you didn't use. Words in a row without losing a life earn a bonus.
Tips to win
- Start with vowels: E, A, O, I.
- Look at the category. With countries and cities you can narrow it down fast.
- Common consonants are T, N, S, R and L.
Ranked play
With an account your best score goes on the leaderboard. Only the server knows the word, so scores can't be faked.
With friends
Hangman is a one-player game, but you can race your friends on the leaderboard.
