Questions
Is TideArcade really free?
Yes. Every game is free and there is nothing to buy. Rewards come only from playing.
Do I need an account to play?
No. As a guest you can play the computer or two players on one device. An account is needed for online games, ratings, clans and rewards.
How do the rankings work?
Two-player games use an Elo rating that starts at 1200. Only games against people count: quick online games and lobbies with friends. Quick match pairs you with someone of a similar rating. Word Rush, Hangman and Anagrams rank your best score.
How do I play with a friend online?
Sign in, open “Play with friends”, pick a game and create a lobby. Send the link or the six-character code, or invite friends from your list. The host starts the game once everyone has joined.
Which languages are supported?
The site and the word games are in English, Polish, Spanish, German and French.
