1. The service

TideArcade offers free browser games. Everyone can play against the computer or on one device without an account. A free account is required to appear on leaderboards, to save ratings and to create or join private lobbies with friends.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
• Choose a username that is not offensive, misleading or impersonating someone else. We may rename or remove accounts that break this rule.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Using several accounts to manipulate rankings is not allowed.

3. Fair play

Rankings only count games that our server has verified. Do not use bots, engines, scripts, automated answers, deliberate losing between accounts ("boosting") or exploits. We may reset ratings, remove scores or suspend accounts involved in cheating.

4. Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, attempt to access other users' accounts, or interfere with advertising (for example by generating invalid ad clicks). Report security issues to kontakt@tidearcade.com.

5. Content and trademarks

The website design, code and artwork belong to TideArcade. Classic game rules such as chess or connect-four are public domain; brand names that appear as Word Rush answers belong to their respective owners and are used only as trivia words.

6. Availability and liability

We provide the games "as is" and may change, pause or discontinue features at any time. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages or the loss of ratings, scores or game history. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.
