How to play Minesweeper
Open every cell without a mine. A number tells you how many mines are in the 8 cells around it.
Rules
- Tap a cell to open it. The first tap on each board is always safe.
- Hold your finger (or right-click) to put a flag where a mine is. The flag button at the top turns taps into flags.
- Tap a number that already has all its flags next to it, and the other cells around it open by themselves.
- There are 5 boards, each one bigger. The first mine is your last chance (you lose half the multiplier), the second ends the game.
Tips to win
- Open cells quickly and the multiplier climbs to ×5. When the bar runs out, it drops by one.
- A big opening is a cascade: 12 cells or more give a bonus, 40 or more an even bigger one.
- You never have to guess. If you are stuck, look for numbers with only one free cell left next to them.
