How to play Pool
Eight-ball: one of you plays the solids (1–7), the other the stripes (9–15). Pot all of yours, then the black 8 into the pocket you called.
Rules
- Aim by dragging anywhere on the table: the cue turns round the white ball. The fine wheel and the arrow keys turn it a little at a time.
- Pull the power bar back and let go to strike (on a computer you can also hold Space). The button with the white ball sets spin: low pulls the ball back, high carries it on, the sides change the angle off a cushion.
- The table is open after the break: the first ball you pot decides your group. You keep playing while you pot your own balls.
- Fouls give the other player the ball in hand (they put the white ball anywhere): the white in a pocket, hitting nothing, hitting the wrong ball first, or no ball reaching a cushion. The 8 in early, in the wrong pocket or with a foul loses the game.
Tips to win
- Look at where the white ball goes after the hit (the dotted line) and plan your next shot.
- Softer is often better: a slow ball drops in more easily and the white stays where you want it.
- When you cannot pot anything, play safe: hit your ball gently into a cushion and leave the white somewhere awkward.
Ranked play
Against people you pick a table: both pay its entry and the winner takes both. Coins buy cues; the rating changes too. If you drop below 250 coins, you get topped up once a day.

Games with friends and on one device are free. Practice against the computer gives nothing, it is only training.
